Towards a Cleaner Governorate .Isnad International Center have started a local initiative in 2023 called “Towards a Cleaner Governorate.”

The aim of this initiative is to reduce the risks of climate change, create a cleaner environment, and promote sustainable practices in the local community of AlMafraq.

Through this initiative, we have implemented a variety of strategies to reduce waste, promote recycling and improve air and water quality . We have collaborated with local businesses, schools, and community groups to raise awareness about the importance of environmental sustainability and to encourage action.

One of the key components of this initiative is our focus on reducing plastic waste. We have organized community clean-up events to remove plastic waste from local beaches, parks, and other public spaces. We have also worked with local businesses to promote the use of reusable bags, containers, and water bottles.

We have also implemented programs to improve air and water quality in the Governorate. This includes planting trees and other vegetation to improve air quality, as well as promoting responsible water usage and reducing water pollution.

Another important aspect of our initiative is our focus on promoting sustainable practices in the local community. We have provided training and support to local businesses and individuals to help them adopt sustainable practices, such as reducing energy usage and improving waste management.
